a humorous story of farm life ~ By Bob Luther
There was a neighbor who had a horse for sale and another neighbor who wanted to buy the horse. When asked about the condition of the horse, the seller replied that it was a wonderful horse: you could ride it, it would pull a buggy, and didn’t eat very much.
So, the neighbor bought the horse.
About a month later, the neighbors bump into each other and the seller asked the new owner how he liked the horse. The new owner replied that the horse was terrible! “You can’t ride him, he won’t pull the buggy, and he eats like an elephant. I don’t know how I’ll get rid of him.” The old owner said that if he kept talking about the horse like that, he sure wouldn’t get rid of it.
Think about this horse next time someone has a great deal for you!
