Summit County Farm Bureau is excited to highlight our member’s “working” pets, each year at the county fair. Surprisingly and unfortunately, there weren’t any submissions for the Summit County Farm Bureau’s 2023 Farm Dog of the Year contest, however, Summit County Farm Bureau’s 2023 Farm Cat of the Year contest was a hit again this year! Almost 850 people took the time during the fair to vote for one of the four cat candidates displayed at our Antiques Museum. Our winner, Franklin, beat out the next closest competitor by 25 votes! Congratulations Franklin!!!
We are all looking forward to seeing what 2024 will bring at the SCFB Antiques Museum and hopefully next summer we’ll see entries in both of the contests!
