The Summit County Farm Bureau has been a long-time supporter of 4-H and plans to continue this support with our pen/project plaque program again this year.
As a reminder, this program is only available to Summit County Farm Bureau member families for the 2025 fair season.
If your child is exhibiting livestock or a still project at the fair, the Summit County Farm Bureau will award up to $50.00 to 4-H exhibitors who participate in our Pen/Project Plaque Program.
The process to participate is simple:
1. You must register your child’s intent to participate by July 16 by either calling our office at 440.877.0706 OR completing the online registration form
2. Pick up your child’s pen/project plaque during the first day of the fair between 10 AM and 10 PM at the Summit County Farm Bureau Antique Museum.
3. Display the plaque on your child’s pen/still project throughout the fair. Please be aware that our board members will be double checking multiple times throughout the fair that the plaque is on display.
4. The Summit County Farm Bureau will award up to $50.00 to each participating exhibitor by way of an “add-on” through the livestock auction or, for those whose project does not sell through the livestock auction, mailing a separate payment through the Summit County Fair office.
The Summit County Farm Bureau wishes all 4-H participants “Good Luck at the Fair”!
